Scott is by far the best remote coach I have ever had! What’s most important, he puts YOU above the competition or training. He makes sure to check in with you mentally and making sure you feel ready to take on a challenge, rather than be concerned with just signing on a new client. He’s always available for questions and has an open communication with training and nutrition. Scott also leads his training by example. He’s has competed in shows and understands what he is asking of his clients. I am confident that whenever he adds or changes something with the program, it’s because he has the experience and knowledge to back that decision. Scott has a focus on hard work and natural nutrition.

I came to Scott with a narrow focus and pretty small goals: I wanted to work on my form so a couple minor pains didn't turn into something worse. He listened to that request without making assumptions about what my goals should be, and met me where I was starting from without judgement. Over the past couple months, Scott has shown me over and over again that I'm capable of so much more than I think I am, he has given me just the right amount of push out of my comfort zone, and he has encouraged me to set bigger, scarier, more exciting goals than I ever would have on my own. Every time I work out with Scott I know I'm going to learn, I know I'm going to be challenged, and I know I'm going to have fun. Everything I gain from our time together carries over into the workouts I do on my own, and I'm making much better progress because of his influence. No matter what your goals are, it is worth connecting with Scott. I seriously can't recommend it enough.

Scott McIvor-Garman is a very competent trainer and an amazing person! I was so hesitant to go to the gym. When I finally made the decision to look for a trainer, he came highly recommended. He listened to my concerns and put together a program that helped me get from lifting just a little over the bar to meeting and/or exceeding my goals! I have been bodybuilding with Scott for almost a year now and I feel so lucky to have found a coach as caring as him. His communication is great, I feel well taken care of, and I know if I ever have questions about his training or protocols, he is more than happy to supply an educated answer in response. Over the last 6 months Scott has completely taken over my nutrition and diet, and has completely changed my physique while keeping me from losing my body composition. Scott helped me switch to a diet based on whole foods and better meal timing, which promptly led to not just gaining muscle at a better rate, but to feeling better physically and mentally. In addition, Scott took the extra steps to help me learn and understand the rationale of his meal plan for me from the begining, and carefully explained every change we made so I never felt in the dark about the process. While he may focus on bodybuilding, he has helped me diet into two powerlifting competitions, resulting in PRs in each lift, at each meet. His passion on building you into a better athlete is immensely motivating, and has changed my philosophy on dieting completely.
